AERIAL ARTS

In recent years, this art form has rocked both the performance and circus arts, steadily collecting countless practitioners and fans. With its grace, beauty, and remarkable demonstration of strength, it’s no wonder that so many people have discovered their passion through a practice that balances exacting demands with high rewards.

Meg started her circus journey in 2015 when she first picked up a hula hoop and has continued to expand her circus world with all things aerial and dance. Not long after she started, she knew she wanted to share her love for circus arts with others and has been teaching for the last 3 years. 

SCHEDULE

MONDAY 7 PM

AERIAL HOOP COMBOS

After completing your foundations classes, this is where you will learn how to combine movements to create different combinations of different styles on the aerial hoop. *Instructor permission required to attend. 
WEDNESDAY 7 PM

INTRO TO AERIAL

This class will allow you to try each circus apparatus and teach you the proper techniques to ensure your safety when flying. You will learn different hand grips and foot wraps that will be used every time you mount the apparatus. This class is recommended to be taken more than once.
SATURDAY 9:30 AM

INTRO TO AERIAL

This class will allow you to try each circus apparatus and teach you the proper techniques to ensure your safety when flying. You will learn different hand grips and foot wraps that will be used every time you mount the apparatus. This class is recommended to be taken more than once. 

SATURDAY 10:30 AM

FIT & FLEX

Fit & Flex starts with mobility and strengthening exercises to ensure the muscles are warm and finishes with flexibility exercises. This class is great to incorporate in your normal fitness routine to aid in injury prevention. You may bring bands, blocks, ankle weights or other equipment desired.
SATURDAY 12 PM

AERIAL FABRIC FOUNDATIONS

Aerial Fabric Foundations is a mixed apparatus class. You will be learning foundational skills such as climbing, foot wraps, inverting and how to spin. This class is meant to be taken after "Intro to Aerial." You will attend Foundations a minimum of 4 times. Each week you will review and add onto the skills from the previous week. Each person will progress at a different rate but once you are confident in each skill you may move onto the combo classes.

* Cancellation Policy: 24 hour notice will give you a credit towards your next class. 

What to Wear & What to Expect


Layers and form-fitting athletic clothing are recommended. You will be using the back of the knees and elbow pits so having them covered will be most comfortable. The aerial hoop is taped but you may bring lifting gloves to aid in grip as well as chalk or rosin. If you have long hair it is best to tie it back and absolutely no jewelry may be worn during class.
